“As a kid, when I was watching my sister cook, she used to tell me: ‘Keep watching, you’ll need it some day!’ It is as if she knew that I would raise my children by myself. She taught me to cook, make homemade bread, and bake cakes.”
Branko is one of few single fathers in the Roma community. Branko cooks for his children every day, due to which he is often exposed to prejudice and disrespect.
