Branislav

Branislav’s grandfather was a philatelist, while Branislav himself is the curator and Head of the Department of Numismatics at the Museum of Slavonia in Osijek. He has been living with cerebral paralysis and is a devoted fan of the A.C. Milan football club. He never knew his father and it was only after his grandmother and mother had died that he learned he had a halfsister and a half-brother.

I never met my father due to various family circumstances. He left us when my sister and I were two years old. We only had a single photo of him, which we lost over time when moving, and it was the only “contact” we had with him. While my mother and grandmother were alive, the secret remained hidden.

Soon after Branislav was born, his parents divorced. Branislav was raised by his mother, who took back her maiden name, and his grandmother. His father was a mysterious figure that was seldom mentioned at home. It was not until his grandmother and mother died that Branislav began investigating who his father was and discovered he had a half-sister and a half-brother.
