Mustafa Gusani

“It is as if I was born in a car. I used to dream of the day I would start driving. I sometimes slept in the car. I was always hanging around the mechanic shop, tightening screws in motor housings. I didn’t want to attend school because of the car. I first drove a car when I was nine years old. I paid a man 100 kuna to let me into his car. Later, I bought that car.”
When he is not working at a construction site, Mustafa teaches the children from the settlement to drive. He does not have a car of his own, so he borrows it from a friend. He plans to get married, build a house, and buy a proper car.
